ABOUT US

The Frome Valley Benefice lies half-way between the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester and straddles the A4103 trunk road. It is about half an hour from the M5 and the motorway network.

The Benefice is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in England, including the nearby Malvern Hills. The Frome Valley is largely made up of farming communities and small villages, the nearest source of amenities being the nearby former market town of Bromyard.

The Benefice was created in its present form in 2009. It consists of eight rural parishes: Acton Beauchamp, Bishops Frome, Castle Frome, Evesbatch, Fromes Hill, Much Cowarne, Ocle Pychard and Stanford Bishop with Linley Green. It forms the southern portion of Bromyard Deanery.

We are part of the worldwide Anglican chucrh and situated in the Diocese of Hereford.  Our vision for our group of churches and also for the deanery is as follows:-

The Deanery of Bromyard seeks to share God’s love through

 Worshipping God and praying for His help and guidance

 By caring for and serving people in all life’s situations

 By recognising and responding to the needs of communities;

 Through inspiring and learning through each other’s strengths and gifts

 And encouraging each other on our journey of faith as disciples of Christ.

Our Churches vary dramatically in size but all offer a warm welcome to visitors so please do feel free to join us for any of our services. We will be pleased to see you.
